Please join our local VFW Post #1373 in their annual Memorial Day event at the Roslyn Cemetery.
The program begins on Monday, May 27th at 11:00 A.M., where guest speaker veteran and priest Monsignor John Ecker will be speaking to our guests.
An active priest in the 1960s, Msgr Ecker join the Vietnam war efforts after learning of the growing need of chaplain support for deployed troops. His enlistment in the Navy allowed him the opportunity to serve two tours in Vietnam. Msgr Ecker’s experiences as both a veteran and a chaplain provide a very interesting and unique perspective that the Roslyn Cemetery is excited to be able to share with you.
